now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the hospital with my YAGI antena
and HAM equipment.

Chris

Most hospitals don't like you to use cell phones inside the building as they can
cause interference with some of the machines and equipment inside.  Trust me, I
worked at a hospital over the summer, and the only mobile comms equipment we
could use was Nextel radios... couldn't use phones in the building

(...) That's bunk. Cellphone don't produce anywhere near the wattage necessary to cause any significant interference. I'd throw this one on the same pile as the "cellphones cause gas staion explosions" myth. -Orion (20 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
