I'm not a rtlToronto member, but I remember when the "Show me the Monkey" event
was held in fall of 2001. It was fairly soon after I discovered LUGNET. It was
a month after 9/11 and helped take my mind off the unpleasantness of that time.
I heard that the Web page, including pictures and video, from that event got
somehow erased, which is quite a shame. However, why was the Web page devoted
to the event removed? There are pictures from the event available online.

You can at least pull some stills and the picture descriptions in order to
reconstruct the page, at least partially...

I have my own photos from the event, but I never managed to get anyone to (...) (20 years ago, 22-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
