actually Victor: That microscout is only ONE of 4 I now own. I had a great setup a while ago where I was VLL controlling 4 different microscouts with 1 RCX.      (...) Ohhhh boy. Chris, you've got problems :) If only VLL had loop constructs, then I might think of buying it back from you :) VJR (URL) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: so ya wanna go DCC —Matthias Jetleb
(...) For what it's worth, you need to disrupt power to both rails since the DCC controller has the option of running the engine backwards. Leaving one side connected to the motor will only alow you to control speed. Matthias Jetleb VA3-MWJ (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: so ya wanna go DCC —Calum Tsang
(...) George's Trains in Toronto was out of stock of the DN140, which has been holding us up so far...if your local hobby shop has stock, I wouldn't mind buying a few myself. Calum (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: so ya wanna go DCC —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Can that kind take an off switch so that you can just pass through current/voltage and run on non DCC layouts? I'm thinking that would be handy during the transition period! (shows how much actual research I have done on this topic lately) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
