I've never tested it, but I'm 99% sure that the light sensor is actually sensitive to IR. If this is indeed the case, then, naturally, you'll want to be looking for nail polish. Huh?? I'm not quite clear on how you are sending the VLL messages, nor am I clear on what software you are using to send them. Chris and Jeff have been working on a decoupling engine as far as I know, and I remember there was some talk of the engine moving too far when the track was pulsed to get the signal to the Scout on board.
