I'm bringing three: a rack & pinion trike, a fragile tank/skid steerer with a kicker, and an upgraded tank identical in design but less prone to self-destruct. (...) what about a kicking device??? Each of mine has 4 motors (1 for each rear wheel to allow steering / and to give it some horse power, and 2 motors for the kicking device). I managed to slap together a robot this morning in about an hour and half. After fixing one major design flaw, I was basically covering up the IR port, I discovered it's about a 1/4 inch too long. Hi folks, Last night I went ahead and built what I thought was a good stab at a multiple-IR tower connector cable. It worked, first go. Doh. I installed the RCX 1.5 software on my computer (finally...) :) and after going through about a significant amount of time going through grade 3 level instructions....aka the tutorial...
