  OT: A trip to Berlin

Hey folks, A while ago someone said they enjoyed reading my travelogues. In the fall of 2004, I ended up going on an emergency business trip to Germany. This has: -Tales of me driving at 190km/h in a $75,000 car with two hours of sleep. -How to see (...) (19 years ago, 4-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hobby Show November (Toronto)

(...) This thread has been too quiet, so I thought I'd try to see if we could get some discussion started about this. Please see Dave's notes above (or reread his entire original post). This is really good news, if you as me! There must be some (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on, FTX)

Re: Any 1970's Canadian Lego Catalogs?

(...) Oliver, I've got some educated guesses at dates, including V-1869 and LE-21-66 here: (URL) think the -66 actually stands for 1966, but I'm not 100% sure. I would love to see your scans of 3551-CA (or host them with your permission). On the (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Any 1970's Canadian Lego Catalogs?

(...) Yes Oliver, it sounds very interesting!!!! The first one V-1869 is likely the 1963-64 Canadian Samsonite catalog. The LE-21-66 is the 1966 Canadian Samsonite Spare Parts list. "THE LEGO STORY" - 3551-CA is likely the 1968-69 Canadian Samsonite (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Any 1970's Canadian Lego Catalogs?

G'Day Finally found my catalogue collection, I think i have some Samsonite from late 60's and early 70, but it is very hard to tell, i can not see any obvious copyright dates. I have a page of instructions, looks very old, Samsonite, prnted in (...) (19 years ago, 29-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto at the NMRA2005 Train Show

(...) Amazing shots. What I want to know is... if you've got x number of people setting up, in different locations, how do you make sure everything "meets up" when you have to have pieces/modules near each other to within a fraction of a stud (...) Ugh :-/ I just sat down, and tried to build a simple linear actuator (I want to build another parallel robot), and I couldn't even figure out what pieces to use. I'm so tired. :( Iain (19 years ago, 28-Jul-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
