  Re: RC racing track width

(...) Man I don't know how I managed that one. I mean I am dyslexic, but I've never gotten anything that far out of whack before and not noticed it. Derek (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RC racing track width

(...) The only restrictions are: -Made of Lego, usual rtlToronto building requirements -uses the 8475/8366 Racer controller/receiver pair (ie, not the new outdoor RC or the old 5600 RC) That's about it. (...) I always wanted to get into RC, sigh. (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Fixed the steering on my 8475

We're planning a Live event with the RC cars pretty soon, so I thought you all should know that I finally had enough of the way my RC racer couldn't drive a straight line and fixed the problem permanently with a little help from my friends Phillips (...)   Re: RC racing track width

(...) That's a good question. I'm used to races based on time, not laps, but it doesn't mater either way. I would think around 10 would be good. (...) I don't think we need any serious restrictions... (...) Except of course this car. Otherwise I'm (...) (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: RC racing track width

(...) Uhhh...hhh.... what Derek said :) 5-foot wide is good. I think that 3 cars at once is a MUST. More fun, more crashes. How many laps per race? 5? 10? I guess that also depends which batteries everyone is using.... Like we discussed, I think (...) (20 years ago, 13-Mar-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)
