| First off, this competition sounds like some good, mindless fun! So I started building a drag racer over the weekend and have a few thoughts. Starting: I am wondering about starting methods. | I finally opened one of the two 4496's I bought. (I know Derek bought like a skid of them.) It's a nice collection: More 2xN than 4107. Closer to the famed 3033. Lots of slopes. Some plates. | (...) Well, actually, that code works fine (running MacNQC, a fairly recent version, with 2.0 firmware). One thing to check, code-wise, is to display SENSOR_1 on the LCD, and see what the numbers are (is it set to raw mode? Is the sensor bad (I've (...) | Hey all, I know I must be doing something very simple wrong here - but I can't for the life of me figure it out. What I'm trying to do: Have a light sensor pointed at a surface. | (...) You wouldn't need to have a line. Simple edge detection would work. As for the oval track, we had an "Indy 5.00" event early in May.
