Re: Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

I believe the answer to this is Yes (for me any how) All of my modules are 3/4+1&1/2+3/8 (2 5/8 Cool I can still do fractions!) (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

(...) Hi Tim, JeffVW I believe is doing the corner OpenC1. I should put out a new module map with that change, but you can still take three modules without the corner, there'll probably be balancing out on the other side. I should probably ask (...)   Re: Train2 Modules

Yeah, I'd love to chat about construction techniques, etc. I can just imagine how many bricks you're going through right now. That was a pretty impressive layout you outlined on Brickshelf. Have you got any more pictures to tease us with? Play well. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

Well, I cut all my 1x2's to the correct length, sanded them all down and the plywood too, and then went to put them together. Doh! Who would have guessed that a 1x2 was not really a 1x2? It's actually only 0.75x1.5!?!? This might not come as a (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

I hear you - I'm working on my third mountain module and *gosh* it uses up a lot of bricks. I'd love to discuss building tips with you at train2 - there's got to be a better way... Jeff E (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) For the record, Ben is a great guy, and I'm sure anyone who has ever met him in person would agree. I'm sure that there are times that all of us misinterpret things, and maybe post without thinking about what we're writing (the internet is (...)   Re: Train2 Modules

Well, I think I better scale myself down and go for 3 modules instead of 6. I'll try to fit our stuff into the 3 remaining modules in the lower right of the layout. If I had money and time to spare, I'd go ahead with my grandiose mountain layout, (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Wow, leave the newsgroups for one night and I miss a whole thread. This is too funny. I'm sorry to see that people's feathers got ruffled, but I can't help laughing. And all because of a "p.s." to Chris at the end of my post. Wow. I have the power! (...)
