(For a moment I thought I heard Ride of the Valkyries in the
background of the first vid, btw :)
I have a question - do either of the magnets contact the baseplates
and drag along them, or are they air-gapped?
Lastly, depending on the layout, this could really be simplified by
using a perpendicular trailing arm mechanism...
This will still gave a basic dogbone path traced out but with far
fewer parts. (a few idler gears could assist in the straight areas)
Depends on the friction, however.
