Sorry, just noticed it and got mad!! Please do not turn this into a
cross-Pacific sledging match as I mean no disrespect for • the US dating
convention only for the fact that a supposedly .au site is • using it when
Australian's DON'T.

I'm annoyed by it too -- and I'm American!  I think the
American dating system
(mm/dd/yyyy) are the second dumbest thing on the entire
planet.  dd/mm/yyyy
makes so much more sense.

(...) OK, the top dumbest thing is U.S. weights and measures (pounds, gallons, inches, feet, miles, etc.) rather than the metric system, which fully rules. And the third dumbest thing is U.S. paper sizes (Letter, Ledger, Statement, etc.) rather than (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Benjamin, how is it your reply to the start of the thread appeared above it? And when is your work ISP going to fix it's aging mail server so that it actually properly handles mailing list posts, or whatever posts you chuck at it? Cheers ... (...)
