Sorry, just noticed it and got mad!! Please do not turn this into a
cross-Pacific sledging match as I mean no disrespect for the US dating
convention only for the fact that a supposedly .au site is using it when
Australian's DON'T.

I'm annoyed by it too -- and I'm American!  I think the American dating system
(mm/dd/yyyy) are the second dumbest thing on the entire planet.  dd/mm/yyyy
makes so much more sense.
