Mindstorms going cheap at Harvey Norman - might just be a rumour

Aware of my Lego interests, a colleague told me that Harvey Norman are advertising Mindstorms in their current catalogue; he thought at reduced prices. However, not being an AFOL, he could not give me more precise details. I tried looking at the (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Pricing on Lego Sets

(...) Whereas what I'd like to see would be one base price across the world, with realistic country by country prices, and S@H making it explicit how much above the base price is due to shipping costs to that country, and how much above the base (...)   RE: Pricing on Lego Sets

G'day, I'm not trying to start any cross continent flame wars...just trying to show people they're not as badly off as they seem to think. [and want others to think...I'm sure there are places worse off than Australia, too.] I wouldn't mind it so (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Pricing on Lego Sets

(...) Don't worry, I do. We have exchange students ask us why we can't just drive down to Disney World (in FL, 1000 M from our house) for the weekend, so I know where you're coming from. Don't fault me for thinking Melbourne is close to Sydney, (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Box hill is a suburb of Melbourne, Melbourne is about 1000km's south of Sydney. Though (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Pricing on Lego Sets

(...) And it always amazes me that you bring this up again and again! :-) Look, the fact that you're paying 3x what some sets are worth doesn't make the fact that the US is paying 2x what the same sets are worth any less bad. Instead of trying to (...) (24 years ago, 7-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  RE: Pricing on Lego Sets

(...) It always amazes me how people in a country with the cheapest lego and largest range are always complaining about how it costs so much...Here in Australia it has been cheaper in general to get sets sent to us by airmail from the US/Europe than (...)   Re: GPSP -- $22.45

(...) toyworld for quite a while, and the ones in Craigieburn don't seem to have moved well either. [And the lego rep said he'd be in the friday before last and still hasn't shown up...shows their commitment to us :( ] On a side note...Did you know (...)
