| Be very careful when it comes to visa debit cards, sounds more secure but look closer. If someone makes fraudulant charges on your regular charge card, you are only responsible for very little if any of the amount, you dispute the charge and the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

| Well, the easiest alternative is to get a visa [or similar] debit card. Then you can only spend the money in whatever account you have it lnked to, and can't get yourself into debt on it...You can only spend money you already have. I've got one of (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

| Great!! This is 100% accurate and totally useless to me though!! I don't have a credit card, so probably wouldn't be allowed to register anyway. ( I wonder if we'll ever see any form of registering or secure payment method for people who don't have (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

| I'm not sure if this would be of great help, but when converting currencies I always use (URL) as they have a good conversion setup. IE you pick the currency you're in, the currency you're going to be in, and put in an amount, which is optional (...) (24 years ago, 31-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
