I hadn't realised that the ramp/rails/road wasn't a preformed piece until I read this (same for the barrier arms), so I went and downloaded the instructions off brickshelf to see how it was formed.   Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

Or how about indigenous Australian art? You know, the pictures of kangaroos or patterns all made from dots. Only our dots would all have "Lego" written on them like studs do. I fear this is a job for Kev though :-) Gosh, I just love weddings. Kerry (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

Ahh, I have it this time. We get one of those "snow domes" with the Opera House or Ayers Rock (or both!) and open it up (caution, children, don't try this at home), insert a couple of singlet-wearing Bruce and Sheila minifigs, and reseal it.   Re: I'm going to The Wedding!!!

(...) I think that would be great -- maybe a collectively designed Oz-themed MOC, along the lines of the "New Outback" series we were talking about a few weeks ago? A contingent of minifig-rendered locals would be cool too. --Dave (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

  I'm going to The Wedding!!!

Hi all Just got confirmation from Suz of my invitation to their (Todd & Suz) wedding!   Re: So what about 9v level crossings?

Well, you could always build your own!! Wouldnt be too hard - could use hinges to get a shallow slope, and plates / tiles between the rails. Could have a custom barrier / lights arrangement too!!   So what about 9v level crossings?

Dare I wonder about the availability of System 9v Level Crossings in Australia? Would I be right in thinking obtaining one of these would have to be via the 2nd hand or hoarder-of-MISB markets?
