  New adventurer sets

Hi All, Just bought same of the cheap impulse sets and noticed that BigW had two of the new small adventurer sets 5903 and 5904. When I got home and opened the boxes I noticed that the instructions are for sets 5903/1278 and 5904/1280. So these sets (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Typical Target!!

(...) Hey Mark don't tell the local Lego rep as he told me he would take their Lego of anyone he found selling the book. I was talking to him the other day at Target Buranda.( He actually told me it is the worse(exuse the spelling) book they have (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

RE: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(...) Well, you'd love it where I work...It's a subsiduary of an Israeli company and we have quite a few 'visitors' from Israel, as well as a lot who have transferred over here. And for the next bit of good news...they have offices in the US [not (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Typical Target!!

Beat this. Our local target store not only has been trying to sell the lego 2000 catalogue (No.1) for 50 cents but has increased the price to 54 cents (incl. GST). Mark H. (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(...) Well - not exactly... More like: 1) Israel - coz that's where I was born and raised and I miss everything and everyone there 2) Iowa - coz that's where the guy I love lives <sigh> And possibly 3) Oz - coz you're making me feel at home. (but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) Where? My guesses... 1) Australia, as it's a nice country with friendly people 2) USA, the only place LEGO isn't overpriced, and also the only place with LD [well, in the only region with it, anyway.] 3) Denmark, the home of the brick [and all (...) (...) That's what I thought... is that clear enough? (...) Thanks! Uh-oh... don't want to make a home in Oz too, then I'll be craving to be at 3 places at once!... ugh :-) -Shiri (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(...) That was my understanding, market type posts in org.au only, and cross- posting OTHER non market posts to loc.au to catch the Italians. I think as a group we define "local shop X has set Y for $Z" as an acceptable post for loc.au but (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

(.market.b-s-t removed from post) Hi Geoffrey and everyone, Don't get me wrong here - I don't want to butt in or anything; just wondering about a few things. I thought the purpose of .org.au was to welcome b-s-t posts that .loc.au doesn't. I can't (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Heres an idea, if the "references" header is removed by the server, add it manually but call it something different (e.g. reference) and then have todd change lugnet to recognise this in incoming emails and change it to references before it stores (...)   RE: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Well, the headers required are news headers, and as we don't 'need' news stuff [no net/news allowed] that's probably why we don't have them...and there's nothing I can do...I tried my best :( Benjamin Whytcross BWhytcro@PacificAccess.com.au Ph: (03) (...)   Re: negotiating with winners on Ebay, has anyone tried?

Why would they set up a mail server to strip out headers delibretly, or is it the server itself? (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
