MichLTC will be displaying at the Annual Southeast Michigan Model Train Show in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 30th, from 10am till 4pm. There will be over 100 tables of model trains and railroadiana for sale, several operating layouts, and trains (...) (...) Like Larry said, we do some shows that pay us to be there, not all of the events we do pay money. We do try to keep a balance of about half and half. In the U.S. we have some major shows that move around the country, the biggest being GATS and (...) (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.org)

(...) Do things that people pay for. That's not supposed to be a smart aleck answer... the most common way is to be compensated for exhibiting at a show but it can also include creating things on commission or (potentially) selling things. (22 years ago, 29-Oct-03, to lugnet.org)
