  New World LUG Map demo

Hey all, I've been working on a brand new mapping facility for charting LEGO organizations worldwide. It's for mapping all types of LEGO user groups (LUGs, LTCs, MUGs, etc.) as well as for events (BrickFest, BricksWest, NWBrickCon, LEGO World, etc., (...)   Re: When was your LUG/LTC/MUG formed?

Although I cannot assist on dates, as that was before my time, I can say that the names of the Washington, D.C. clubs are different now, since at least July of 2001. Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area LEGO Users Group (WAMALUG) Washington, D.C. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.org)

Re: LUG & LTC dates of formation update

(...) I think it was a little before that - The first post to the Lugnet Sealug group was on Aug 24, 2000. I would have thought that we met before we got our official Lugnet group. Maybe in July? -mark (2) (23 years ago, 24-Mar-03, to lugnet.org)

Re: Split and partial World LUG Map maintenance

(...) I haven't been keeping close tabs on others but I've been putting together a new database-backed world map resource that will be editable by multiple maintainers and have arbitrary user-chooseable views. Later tonight I hope to give a public (...) (23 years ago, 22-Mar-03, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general, lugnet.org)

Split and partial World LUG Map maintenance

Hello all, What's the current status of the World LUG Map maintenance ? In tread (URL) Eric Kingsley announced he was looking for persons to take over this job from him, and there were several positive reactions. But it has gone awfully quiet since (...)   When was your LUG/LTC/MUG formed?

Hi! This is a periodic "call for information" regarding the dates of formation of all LUGs, LTCs, MUGs, etc., around the world. I've been maintaining a comprehensive list for the past couple of years... (URL) I'm thinking of putting into a database (...)   MichLTC to display at Curious Kids' Museum - St. Joseph, MI

Short notice, I know, but we only found out for sure this afternoon. MichLTC will be presenting a modest 12' x 6' layout. This will take place during the Curious Kids' Museum LEGO CONTEST!   The debut of GLUG!

It is my pleasure to announce the formation of GLUG -- The Game-LEGO User Group. The purpose of GLUG is to facilitate discussion about, and organization of, LEGO-based games of all kinds.   Re: What type of LUG marker? (was Re: New Mosaic: Map of the USA)

It already is that case for the Bay Area, with its high dot concentration at Brickswest. I think just having one instance of (...)   A national (global?) gaming-themed LUG!
