       (...) It needs to be written in the standard sig format -- two hyphens at the beginning of a line, followed by a space character, followed by a newline character.       (...) You don't need to use "-- " if you use Ctrl-L (ASCII #12). If Ctrl-L appears anywhere in a post, the post is truncated from that point onward when displaying it in "Brief" mode (e.g., v=b). --Todd (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.off-topic.test)
