So it looks like MacHeads just go "dbldash space" then Keycaps
for ctl-l and add a ctl-g. Or Netscape(4.7) will not

(...) You don't need to use "-- " if you use Ctrl-L (ASCII #12). If Ctrl-L appears anywhere in a post, the post is truncated from that point onward when displaying it in "Brief" mode (e.g., v=b). --Todd (24 years ago, 30-Jun-00, to lugnet.off-topic.test)
