(...) It sounds like what people are looking for is some way to proactively cause the "Brief" mode display to truncate content at a specific location -- presumably for spoilers...? (...) It needs to be written in the standard sig format -- two hyphens at the beginning of a line, followed by a space character, followed by a newline character.
