Footnote: My Hindi-speaking friends tell me that kaddu is used as a derogatory term like 'dummy'. Just think of it: "You pumpkin-for-brains! You stinky hollow gourd with seeds rattling inside!" I just found in a Hindi/Urdu phrasebook that the word for pumpkin is kaddu. It doesn't sound quite like kaa-doo with a long a, but it makes me wonder if Lucas is having a joke.
