I wish I could remember or find it, but it was something dirt-simple like this:

copy //www.doofus.com/dolt/knucklehead/fool.txt c:\network\fool.txt

but I can't recall the formatting, and that's the whole problem.

(...) That works if the site is on your windows network, so you can access it as \\hostname\path\to\file... But if it's not available, I don't think it's doable...
