One of the biggest reasons I started running my own mail server is that
I had enough of being helpless while my ISP was mucking with my email.

I've learned that lesson the hard way as well. Getting a chiep host
looks like a great idea, but really, you end up getting what you pay
for. I've been convinced that many (if not most) hosting companies
are actually just get-rich-quick schemes for their owners.
I'd say go with a respectable host (Pair comes to mind), and you will
never regret it.

| My timcourtney.net accounts are being blocked by SpamCop when sent through my home ISP - SBC DSL. I didn't even know my account filtered through SpamCop, my provider must subscribe to it. Anyways, my provider (zettai.net) is about as helpful as a (...) (20 years ago, 11-May-04, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
