My timcourtney.net accounts are being blocked by SpamCop when sent through my
home ISP - SBC DSL.
I didn't even know my account filtered through SpamCop, my provider must
subscribe to it. Anyways, my provider (zettai.net) is about as helpful as a
rotted log. I'm surprised their support messages don't solely consist of an
autoresponder that says "RTFM."
SpamCop presents me with this URL: http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?68.73.81.83
It appears there's nothing I can do but wait out the 24-48 hours I'm blocked. I
have no other recourse? I emailed their webmaster presenting my case, but I'm
somehow doubtful they'll unblock me early.
I'm quite upset at my provider [1]. I was never told that mail was filtered
through SpamCop, nor that I could potentially be blocked from sending mail. Has
anyone had similar experience? Advice?
-Tim
[1] They're horrible at communicating with their customers. In the few months
I've been there, they've been very unhelpful to me in setting up a plone site. I
only paid for 3 months, and now I'm going to be looking elsewhere for my
hosting. They don't deserve my money.

| (...) Yah, I'd guess that you're correct in your doubts. (...) One of the biggest reasons I started running my own mail server is that I had enough of being helpless while my ISP was mucking with my email. (...) I've learned that lesson the hard way (...)
