(...) sounds pretty good... let me know if you're able to clear up the muffled bit with the EQ, i've got some vinyl to rip, but i've been concerned with the quality. as far as cdrs are concerned, having had to purchase many for my collection, if you (...) I've been using Adaptec's Easy CD Creator (basic version came with my Yamaha burner, and I upgraded to Deluxe V3.5), and it seems to be able to handle noise rather well, considering how simple the interface is. (...) if you really wanted to get ambitious.. couldn't you use the phillips cd audio burner and connect that directly up to the TT? then at least you'd rid yourself of the analog->digital being directly into the computer... may result in better (...) (...) Let's see... this week, Best Buy has an offer for a spindle of 50 CD-Rs, with rebate. Final cost: $19.99USD, plus a stamp and some patience. That's a pretty good deal, I guess. Used to be, before CompUSA bought them, that Computer City would have packs of CD blanks for $20 with a $20 rebate - I just had to pay the tax. Ah, those were the days... -S (25 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
