(...) After I left work last night I realized that my formulation of the question was really feeble, so here's some more info, if it helps. (...) Dave, I'm pretty sure you can't do it without an external program. If you have FTP access to the file, you can use the command-line ftp program included with most msdos versions, otherwise you will need a non-dos program, I would recommend GNU (...) Hi All: I know next to zilch about programming, even in DOS, so this question is asked in ignorance and good faith.
