Just installed this on my dual celeron box and it runs like a champ, but I'm trying to figure out how to make KDE my default X-windows thingie.... don't like this Gnome stuff much. Can't get Mandrake to install on this system (doesn't seem to like (...) (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Ah. Yeah, some of the departments I support do a similar thing. (Largely, we use AFS, but we've got some holdouts....) I've tried to move most of them to making the exported directory be /usr/local/somethingorother instead of just /usr/local. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
