  Re: Palm Pilots

(...) Hrmmm... that really isn't too shabby. I think I'll find someone who wants a IIIx cheap and get a IIIc, assuming it has 4mb. (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) $.02 I'd rather use "normal" batteries. Easier to pick up an extra set while running through the airport and replace on the plane that way. -Steven (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Palm Pilots

(...) I believe that I've read that the e doesn't have the same sync capabilities as the x does, but I don't know the details offhand. Hmm, now that I think of it, I'm not sure where I heard that - may be a bad rumour. ah, there it is. According to (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Even if I never use more than 1.5mb, though, I'll feel better knowing I have 4mb instead of 2mb. And (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Palm Pilots

(...) The IIIe is also not flash upgradable. Not a death-knell type flaw, but it does shorten the lifespan. That's more important than the RAM, I think. Mike, how much of your 4MB are you using? I've got a IIIx too, and I barely have more than 1MB (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: DSL newbie

(...) Years of practice. *grin*. Actually, I've been doing Linux admin stuff for years and I wouldn't call myself an expert. But having a reasonable grasp is certainly obtainable. It just so happens that I just got done putting together some pages (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
