| (...) Well, it could be handled on a very gross basis by the router/firewall. If it keeps track of the top IP sources of packets, it can just start discarding packets from certain IP addresses. | (...) Steve, I am not a power user but I see you are still using 1.6, upgrade to 1.7. 1.6 had a bunch of bugs in it that were apparently taken care of in 1.7(and some were database bugs :^(.
