(...) Well, it could be handled on a very gross basis by the router/firewall. If it keeps track of the top IP sources of packets, it can just start discarding packets from certain IP addresses. (...) Steve, I am not a power user but I see you are still using 1.6, upgrade to 1.7. 1.6 had a bunch of bugs in it that were apparently taken care of in 1.7(and some were database bugs :^(. (...) Version? An easy solution would be to switch to IE5, though. Much more stable for me than any version of Communicator has been. Last stable version of a Netscape product that I used was Navigator 4.08. (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
