  Re: Lets Call It...."SLOPE MANIA"

(...) Two comments: - interesting way to hide the lack of 2x2 slopes at the edges! - First time I recall seeing a clock built in to a minifig scale model on display... (GMLTC did it with watches of course...) Hey, if it's made by LEGO and it has (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Important Questions

(...) I say "plooh", and I giggle uncontrollably at those who say "pluff". I spell out "X-Y-Z-Z-Y", but I suppose that one allows more variance. By the way, do the words work for every pronunciation? Ian (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: House Hunting (was K'nex or something

(...) Well, I just signed onto a 2 bedroom, 2 bath town house style apartment with double deep garage. It's 1245 square feet. I haven't decided exactly how things will be laid out, but I may build a train layout in part of the garage. It should (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.storage)

Re: House Hunting (was K'nex or something

(...) And I haven't been evaluating positions of closet doors and such in my apartment search... And the only reason I'm looking at two and three bedroom units is so I can have space for visitors to sleep... Frank (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.storage)

  Re: Lego Scale Conversion Tool

(...) And how do their glasses stay up? BTW in the latest (and final-- it becomes LEGO Magazine (tm) in May) issue of the Mania mag, a reader asks why minifigs don't have noses or ears, and they don't give a straight answer. Maggie C. (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Lego Scale Conversion Tool

Like Larry said this is "on-topic" fun. Followups to lugnet.fun (...) It's strange my Minifigs must be somewhere in between. They seem to be able to rush the cats in one's and two's but never in an organized group. This of course gives the cats the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.fun)

(...) I guess my figs don't understand Hebrew... I'd love to have them sneak up on the cats, rush them... Of course, I'll have to peel the cat off the ceiling later, but that's ok :) Dan (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Lego Scale Conversion Tool

(...) Lego molds are very very precise. My theory (now that I took time to think one up) is that they have inner ears. Just not outer ones. So you don't see anything on the outside but a flat surface. If they didn't have ears at all they could not (...) (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Important Questions

(...) Of course, once the rats are caught, the bubonic fleas will feast on people. Therefore I support Larry in his rebuke of his vermin! By the way--brushing between meals will help eliminate plague. Dave! (23 years ago, 13-Mar-02, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Lego Scale Conversion Tool

(...) They don't have inner ears, that is why their feet grip studs to make sure they can remain standing. This is why there is a high probability of minifigs falling over when standing on a smooth surface. Just a theory though... If they don't have (...)
