But of course, one *bad* thing could happen, if LEGO decided to level prices
by the *highest*.

By the way, I believe you were right about the example of cars and tires. I
can add something to it: tires are expensive *within* the EU, but if you go
to Andorra you can buy a pair tax-free; the other pair must be in someone
else's name (tip given to me by a Spanish Taxi driver).
And Cars themselves are rather cheap in Portugal (like most stuff, except
for LEGO...), but are overtaxed (like 50% or so) - still, that doesn't stop
the chaos in traffic.
