Last Chance to see is AFAIK the only non-fiction book Douglas Adams ever wrote.
It is an account of his travels to remote regions of the world in exploration
of nearly-extinct animal spieces. It has a fair amount of humor but it is
really touching and VERY interesting, esp. if you enjoy wierd creatures :)
