    Ten Commandments —Steve Bliss
I *reall* don't like posting off-topic to lugnet.robotics, because of the heavy traffic and because it's still mostly a mailing list. Anyway, here are my Ten Commandments for LEGO Purists. Some of them wander off a bit, but after "don't use glue, (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: Ten Commandments —James Brown
(...) Uh oh... Does this mean that the designers and modelers who make the themeparks and store displays violate the commands of LEGO? I sense a great schism coming on... First Chrurch of ABS Ascendant, anyone? (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: Ten Commandments —Todd Lehman
(...) Steve, I think your list is perfectly on-topic for a group like lugnet.general -- your Ten Commandments for LEGO Purists are all about LEGO, after all. The off-topic hierarchy is designed for non-LEGO stuff. --Todd (26 years ago, 7-Jan-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) OK. I didn't think too much about it when I moved to a different newsgroup. I guess it was a combination of two inclincations in my brain: "I'm going to move this because it's off-topic, so let's take it to off-topic". "humorous[1]/spoof has (...)          Re: Ten Commandments —Michael Huffman
(...) I believe in the plate, the base plate almighty, the first building block to imagination & creativity. I believe in the brick, the shaper and definer of systems.           The Lego Creed (was: Re: Ten Commandments) —Michael Huffman
(...) Sorry. It was late, I was tired, & I couldn't find a hard copy of the Apostles' Creed anywhere in my mess of an apartment... All I could find was Martin Luther's parody on it.      (...) Oh might Lego Purity Prophets(1) I have a moral dilema. The crux of the problem is mindstorms. I wish to be pure but am sorely tempted by the the false prophets of NQCC and LegOS.
