Re: What is with the Technic C-3PO?

(...) I doubt it's an error; C-3PO has one silver shin. This model accurately reflects that. eric (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: What is with the Technic C-3PO?

(...) I think it is quite good. The Gold chrome parts will be useful. Hopefully the circular parts are not just stickers. The new small ball hinge on the hand will be very useful. The really odd thing is one the leg is silver/grey. A panel piece (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: "Is he seriously thinking it's going to work?"

Aren't lobsters black *before* you boil[1] them? That would explain a lot... Johnny Thunder has a lobster towing his raft! The only problem is... Lobsters do not live in fresh water. Maybe it is a really big freshwater shrimp? (...) [1] We can have (...) (25 years ago, 26-Oct-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Want my car? I want your LEGO

You know, I'll have to wander through the local wrecking yards and car dealerships to see if there's anything worth buying to trade for LEGO. <g> Of course, there's not a lot of hope making a profit but you never know.   Kaadu = Hindi 'pumpkin'

I just found in a Hindi/Urdu phrasebook that the word for pumpkin is kaddu. It doesn't sound quite like kaa-doo with a long a, but it makes me wonder if Lucas is having a joke. Kaadus are orange, aren't they? Pumpkin riders defeating a (...) (25 years ago, 25-Oct-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)
