Well Shiri i discoverd that switching to an altered e-mail addie every 3
months for a year tends to reduce spam-don't ask why but it works

(...) Sure. It takes them a little while to find your address somewhere and stick you on lists. I've toyed with setting up a scheme whereby the addresses I use publicly auto-expire after 30 days... (24 years ago, 19-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Sometimes I wonder about those monkeys on the typewriters (1), and how similar that is to spamming. One of the stories relating to that theory, is that if you put those said 6 monkeys on typewriters, they'll write every book in the Great Library... (...) (24 years ago, 18-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
