Well I guess that you and I aren't acutally debating that much then
since my original post to start this thread was arguing specifically the
new gun registration laws. Requirements for a liscence and training are
and have been for at least a few a years already part of the law to at
LEAST buy firearms.
The only problem that I had when they brought in mandatory firearms
training was when they made EVERYONE including those who had owned
firearms and such for years take a course (which they had to pay for)
and so forth. I do not have a problem with the requirement for firearm
training (although I do have issues with some of the BS IN the course)
nor the requirement to have a liscence to PURCHASE NEW firearms (not for
someone to simply "possess" them - eventually in 20 or 30 years that
would lead to almost all gun owners having a liscence anyways).
