did 2000 years ago, but also who He IS - today - present tense - as in
alive and risen from the dead.  The history of our celebrations on Dec.
25th is a different discussion.

Pardon me but, are you really saying that Jesus is living here with us
_today_? Like Elvis? I really can't understand how otherwise reasonable
men/women became such unrealistic at times.

P.S. Actually you can be true. Two infamous Turkish men had already
started (one is long ago) to claim himselves as Jesus the messiah. It's
particularly funny that one is the assassin of the pope Jean Paul, and
the other is a former senator from a party based on fundamentalist
Islam..:-)
