Good point but while you're thinking about that,
think about Goedel, and whether the cited statements
are claims, or are process descriptions about
how the system of verifying claims works.


The author is stating something he believes is a fact. Last time I
checked, that's a claim.

So, is the author's claim meaningful? If not, let's just discard it now.
If it is meaningful, then is the statement, "every *meaningful* true
claim is falsifiable" falsifiable? Nothing has really changed. My point
still stands.

Also, who defines what's meaningful? What's meaningful for me may not
mean poodo to you, and vis-versa. Adding "meaningful" to the argument
merely weakens it, since we now introduce a subjective variable into the
statement that is supposedly objective.
