I'd say they're not. They both multiply force, one just does it a little better than the other. Dunno if that helps at all, or even if it's germane, if not don't mind me. ++Lar

(...) You are right, it is not germane. :-) Or to put it another way: you go hunting with a nuke? I don't see how the "right" (need, whatever) to use nukes relates to killing some animal for food (which is what this was about). It's a weird tangent (...)
