Actually, Mike, if you're the _only_ one offering that set at that
time, the random guy willing to pay $1k _might_ not be a moron. Just
like people willing to pay 2-3 times retail for SW sets _now_ aren't
necessarily morons, just very, very impatient... And probably quite
simply with enough money that they don't really care if it costs them
that much to get stuff _now_ instead of in a few months.

| (...) I'd say if you have multiple sellers competing to the point that lower prices are offered that annoy you then you don't quite HAVE that seller's market. If you as a seller want $1,000 for your set that normally fetches $200 it doesn't matter (...) (26 years ago, 6-Mar-99, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
