What had been a primarily theoretical debate for Mike and me has turned into
policy in the great state of Florida:

Here's the kicker--now you can shoot someone in the street just because you
*feel* threatened! So when that apparently middle eastern man who's buying
groceries makes you nervous, go ahead and shoot. It's legal.
I feel threatened by Republican legislators--does this bill entitle me to take
extreme, pre-emptive measures? When brought to trial, I could always cite the
precedent of Bush v. Iraq in defense of my baseless use of lethal force.
Dave!
