_If_ there is any proof that there was, in fact, a rape goping on. The
situation isn't what makes it gray, it's what can be made to look like
the same situation that makes for a grey area.
Then there is the (later on not easily distinguished) difference
between "fights off her attacker and kills him in the process" and
"fights off her attacker, then proceeds to kill him".
