Apparently thats where you get all your material. Its got your
question, your cigar mag reference, everything. And google corrolated
it with a bunch of blather about some silly movie. That says something
to me.

Afficianado is now a matter of public record, so its fair game for my

Ive never seen The Siege, so I cant
comment on the relevance of that piece of fiction to the current political
landscape. I will say that
Orwells 1984 parallels much of the policy of Dubyas administration.

I was thinking that season 2 thru 4 of Bab 5, specifically regarding President
Clarkes assention to power and the corruption thereof, with all the
homeguard, the poli-speak, and the if youre not with us, youre against
us rhetoric is as close as I have seen to a fictionalized Dubya
administration.
Id have to refresh my memory of some of the quotations from that particular
storyline in B5, but from what I recall theyre sounding pretty verbatim to
the current administration. JMS was a few years ahead of his time.
