Just as those in the USA have forgotten France’s role in America gaining independence?

The last time I looked the liberation of Europe was a combined effort by ~12 nations. The last time I looked the USA had to be dragged into Europe.

D-day would have failed without the Brits. It would of failed without the Canadians. It would of failed without the USA. To infer the USA did it alone when it supplied less than half the troops and when the British and Canadian sacrifice was so huge is offensive. To say such a thing on Remembrance Day is repugnant.

Without the Brits and Canadians D-day would have never happened, and Berlin would have been nuked in 1945.

They also forgot who rebuilt France, Belgium, West Germany, and Japan as well.

Who rebuilt Vietnam?
