Jeez!
Dr. Laura is disliked not because of her religious or political views, but
because she is a bigot and spreads a message of hatred against gays,
bisexuals, and those involved in BDSM. Her attacks on people participating
in alternative lifestyles is pretty well documented. And really, everybody
should stay out of everybody else's bedroom and just mind their own
business. If sex is a political issue in modern america then I really do not
know what to make of things.
But does Dr. Laura (doctor of nothing involving psychology apparently, IIRC)
have a right to her peculiar views and opinions? Sure. I don't personally
mind her having her own little soapbox somewhere -- I think she does a
better job of proving herself a fool than anyone else could.
Others probably wanted to shut her down so that they could option something
more inclusive and truly helpful for people with pychological and
relationship issues. Say someone without an antiquated, obscene, and
heavy-handed moral agenda.

I believe that Disney’s decision is directly related to the ideology of Michael Eisner and those in his inner circle. I just wait to see if there is (...)
