Well, good for Jessica. But she said "I hate Bush" and said nothing about
hating America. Unless you modify your complaint, you are explicitly
equating Bush with America, which is insane nationalistic idolatry. And,
frankly, that sort of kneejerk follow-the-leader thinking, not to mention
your anti-world diatribes here, also sometimes make me ashamed of America.
Find an explicit example of a star who said "I hate America" or else
change your initial assertion.

I agree with you 100% that there's no reason at all to care more about
some actor's opinion than anyone else's. So why did you single out
Hollywood stars for blame re: your desire to puke?
But that's not the point. You have stated outright that you judge a
dissenter to be less intelligent, of lesser character, or of ill motive
simply because that dissenter doesn't agree with you. Is that your intent,
or are you being hopelessly imprecise once again?

You're being deliberately (I hope) simplistic. The Republicans also have
their Hollywood pawns, such as Charleton Heston and Arnold Schwartzenegger
who are likewise given presstime to spout their views. The difference here,
as always, is that you are accommodating of views that are in line with your
own, but you reject outright those views that conflict with yours.

You know--that dusty old book you believe to be the word of your god.

You *BELIEVE* that your morality is absolute, and I wonder why you believe
that. Prove that it *is* absolute, and prove that you subscribe to it 100%,
and then maybe your statement will make you seem like less of a buffoon.
Anyway, my morality is not adrift, nor is it as arbitrary as you need to
believe it is.

But you're willing to forgive the assault when it comes from your pet
political party, though you condemn it when it originates with someone else.
Why?
Dave!
