I actually think that everything Bruce wrote was spot on. Here's a couple
snipets about which I want to comment.

Yup. Communal living is cool. It has been claimed to me that 40,000 Hopi
lived under a single socialist government. Anyone know enough to comment
intelligently?

But Bruce, we don't need to beat them. We just need to see to our own goals
and needs. And the better we work as a team, the less each person has to do to
have their needs and goals met.
