no, C1 will only follow if P1 said:
P1: Science can explain only the physical universe.
Which is not the claim that was made, I believe. I'm not sure what would
"something outside the physical unievrse" be, but assuming something like
that *may* exist, science *may* be able to explain it.
Besides, didn't the definition of the physical universe change through the
years? Once Ether was considered part of the universe, and energy (I think)
wasn't?
